How to LIVE YOUR DREAM

I am asked “How do I LIVE THE DREAM”

In simple terms

Focus on what is important to you and resonates with you.
Step back from what no longer serves your purpose.
Leave your comfort zone.
Ask the Universe / God or whatever you believe, for specifically what you need.
Trust that you will receive it.
Believe that you can LIVE YOUR DREAM
Be open to infinite possibilities.
You have dreams I am sure.
What steps can you take to LIVE them, not just to dream them?
Do your yoga, meditation and spiritual practices.
Serve others.
Make a difference to someone every day.
Seek the real YOU through silence and by being in nature.
Live consciously.
Eat natural foods, avoid meat.
Have FUN.
Live in LOVE, Universal, unconditional LOVE

How is that for starters?

Have a wonderful 2012

SEXUALITY & SPIRITUALITY Part 5 - Monogamy

SEXUALITY & SPIRITUALITY Part 5 - Monogamy

This topic will always flow! There is no “one fits all” solution.

I have stated in previous posts that very few people admit that one partner satisfies ALL their needs, and that the majority will admit at some time in life to going outside the relationship without telling their partner, for whatever reason.

Some accept a less than fulfilling compromise of monogamy, often leaving one or other frustrated, without touch or physical love.

Some live a lie, appearing to be monogamous, but having at some time(s) in life, secret relationships, to fulfil missing needs.

Some openly practice polygamy, honest and open relationships with more than one partner, with all concerned being aware.

Some just have multiple sexual partners.

A case for monogamy in a spiritual journey:

As part of a spiritual journey, it is possible to create a truly deep sacred union with a life partner, pursuing a high soul evolution, jointly dedicating and combining energies with one partner/lover to walk a much higher path, and to create a deep sacred relationship.

Working with tantra principles and practices is one way to achieve this closeness.

A couple can work intentionally and consciously together to purify themselves, raise their own vibrations, thoughts, bodies and energies, in a vessel of pure deep love between the couple as the sacred relationship.

This takes awareness and consciousness, which many have yet to seek or find.

Once energies are jointly raised this way, these energies are broken by sexual connection with a different partner.
Such Monogamy -Ideal?
Achievable?

Of course, where there is sufficient consciousness, awareness and intention.

Root Chakra

ROOT CHAKRA

Please find below some questions for self-examination on the root chakra. I recommend that you spend some time thinking and meditating on each question individually.

1. What belief patterns did you inherit from your family?
2. Which of those belief patterns that still have authority in your thinking can you acknowledge are no longer valid?
3. What superstitions do you have? Which have more authority over you than your reasoning ability?
4. Do you have a personal code of honour? What is it?
5. Have you ever compromised your sense of honour? If so, have you taken steps to heal it?
6. Do you have any unfinished business with your family members? If so, list the reasons that prevent you from healing your family relationships
7. List all the blessings that you feel came from your family.
8. If you are now raising a family of your own list the qualities that you would like your children to learn from you.
9. What tribal traditions and rituals do you continue for yourself and your family.
10. Describe the tribal characteristics within yourself that you would like to strengthen and develop.

NOTES:
LOCATION: The first chakra is located at the base of the spine.

PETALS: This chakra rules the lowest vibration of our body and has the slowest wavelength. There are four spokes, or petals. Four is the number of the square and foundations. The square is related to being honest, or giving a "square deal, the four energies of earth--earth, air, fire, and water, and the four directions. Four walls, four legs, or four wheels represent a strong foundation.

NOTE & MANTRA: The note for this chakra is C and the mantra is "lam" or "e" as in red. Chanting these mantras in the key of D while focusing our attention on this area of our body can enable us to more consciously access the first chakra.

COLOR: The colour for this chakra is red, which is the lowest frequency of human's visible light spectrum. Red is the colour of anger and/or vitality.

RULES: The first chakra rules our PHYSICAL energies. Also known as the root chakra, it governs our vigor, heredity, survival, security, passion, money, job, and home. This chakra aids us in our everyday survival.

5 Regrets of the Dying

Five Regrets of the Dying

By Bronnie Ware

For many years I worked in palliative care. My patients were those who had gone home to die. Some incredibly special times were shared. I was with them for the last three to twelve weeks of their lives. People grow a lot when they are faced with their own mortality. I learned never to underestimate someone’s capacity for growth. Some changes were phenomenal. Each experienced a variety of emotions, such as denial, fear, anger, remorse, more denial and eventually acceptance. Every single patient found their peace before they departed though... every one of them. When questioned about any regrets they had or anything they would do differently, common themes surfaced again and again.

Here are the most common five:

1) I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me. This was the most common regret of all. When people realise that their life is almost over and look back clearly on it, it is easy to see how many dreams have gone unfulfilled. Most people have had not honoured even a half of their dreams and had to die knowing that it was due to choices they had made, or not made. It is very important to try and honour at least some of your dreams along the way. From the moment that you lose your health, it is too late. Health brings a freedom very few realise, until they no longer have it.

2) I wish I didn’t work so hard. This came from every male patient that I nursed. They missed their children’s youth and their partner’s companionship. Women also spoke of this regret. But as most were from an older generation, many of the female patients had not been breadwinners. All of the men I nursed deeply regretted spending so much of their lives on the treadmill of a work existence. By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities, ones more suited to your new lifestyle.

3) I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings. Many people suppressed their feelings in order to keep peace with others. As a result, they settled for a mediocre existence and never became who they were truly capable of becoming. Many developed illnesses relating to the bitterness and resentment they carried as a result. We cannot control the reactions of others. However, although people may initially react when you change the way you are by speaking honestly, in the end it raises the relationship to a whole new and healthier level. Either that or it releases the unhealthy relationship from your life. Either way, you win.

4) I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends. Often they would not truly realise the full benefits of old friends until their dying weeks and it was not always possible to track them down. Many had become so caught up in their own lives that they had let golden friendships slip by over the years. There were many deep regrets about not giving friendships the time and effort that they deserved. Everyone misses their friends when they are dying. It is common for anyone in a busy lifestyle to let friendships slip. But when you are faced with your approaching death, the physical details of life fall away. People do want to get their financial affairs in order if possible. But it is not money or status that holds the true importance for them. They want to get things in order more for the benefit of those they love. Usually though, they are too ill and weary to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.

5) I wish that I had let myself be happier. This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realise until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they longed to laugh properly and have silliness in their life again. When you are on your death-bed, what others think of you is a long way from your mind. How wonderful to be able to let go and smile again, long before you are dying.

Life is a choice. It is YOUR life. Choose consciously, choose wisely, choose honestly. Choose happiness.

The Energies of December 2011

The Energies of December 2011
Jennifer Hoffman
a message from Jennifer Hoffman
Monday, 5 December, 2011

If November wasn't enough to make you wonder what is happening to your life and to the world, it isn't time to get too comfortable yet because December brings us another round of energy for completion, release and closure. Whenever a month opens with an active Mercury retrograde, between an eclipse sandwich, with a Solstice, we can expect big things. Notice I said 'big' things, not 'good' or 'happy' or 'easy' things. There is some big energy in play this month and while we still have free will, we are being pushed to make conscious choices about who we are, what want, what we are doing and where we want to go next.

Mercury retrograde ends December 13 at the degree of the November 25 eclipse point. Just before that, we have a full moon lunar eclipse on December 10, anchoring the choices and decisions made in the previous two weeks. We also have a Star of David configuration with the full moon, repeating patterns from 1996, 1997 and the Harmonic Convergence of November 2003. Is something being repeated you started or thought you had completed then? Don't be surprised if you have to re-do, re-think or re-consider a choice or decision you made as early as the beginning of November or in 1996. You may, after re-considering, decide to do something different. Be open to new and different choices now, as it is time to release ourselves from the beliefs that have limited out options to what we know is possible. The Universe often has more creative solutions, if we are open to them.

December's energies are intense and that is partly because on one hand we have been releasing so much (or it has released itself from us) that we can feel unbalanced, and on the other hand we are being separated from the energy of chaos and fear and have to make the conscious choice to be in a different energy. This can feel like we're out at sea without a boat or a paddle and in one sense we are but we're also in a powerful place of creation, where we get to choose each step on the path. It's exciting but requires our constant focus on intention. What do we want in this step, and the next, and the next?

By the end of December, we are in a rare time when every planet is in direct motion, just in time for us to usher in 2012, a year of great promise, potential, possibilities and power, as long as we work with conscious intention to stay on that course. This is the moment we have been waiting for and we have to act like we're there now, because we are. Remember that your journey is part of your path, so make choices to own the joy, love, peace and abundance you want in your life. It's there for the asking, as long as you don't forget to ask, believe and then be willing to receive. Have a wonderful month.

Action & Activity Hides the Real ME

Action & Activity Hides the Real ME

Many people lead busy lives, or at least think that they do.

Some genuinely want to pack in as much into life as possible. Whilst this is commendable when done for the right reasons, being Action Man and Action Woman all the time can be a cover for deep unhappiness or loneliness. This includes spending hours in front of a computer or television.

This is not the sole reserve of “singles”. Many couples fill the diary with so many activities, together or apart, to avoid the reality that they no longer have much in common, have a superficial relationship without intimacy or are just not comfortable spending time together, and probably should not be together.

Why am I here? Who am I?

I don’t mean the person who works at x, plays sport at y, and lives with z, and drives a …. car.

I mean the real ME, the Soul, the Higher Spirit. The answers to this are inside each of us and are only found through silence, meditation and looking inwards. Being in nature can help the internal search, but not as part of a talking group. Constant action and activity does not allow us to find the REAL ME.

Finding the real ME can be a person’s Spiritual Journey. It can also identify whether one is running away from reality, loneliness, an unfulfilling relationship. unsatisfactory life situation or even being a workaholic. It can clarify what is important for each person. It can lead to finding the right life partner, or to a satisfying solo life, happy with the REAL person inside.

Learn to LOVE YOURSELF, the REAL ME, then you can love others without possessing them, or clinging to them, for your own needs.

What is MY TRUTH? What are my core beliefs?

Do I live my life acting in harmony with my core beliefs – IN BALANCE?

Or are my actions out of harmony with my core beliefs – OUT OF BALANCE?

True happiness and contentment will not be found until balance is achieved. Without balance and contentment, there is frustration, pain and dis-ease. Perhaps each day the heart aches because you are not where you want to be, or are reluctant to let go and move from the cause of the pain.

Daily meditation, silent time, ME time are all recommended, together with the practice of yoga, tai-chi, or similar activities, not just for the physical exercise, but to study and follow the philosophy and lifestyle on which the physical practice is based.

The result will be a happy, balanced ME – YOU.

Mayan Calendar Predictions – do you feel it happening?

Mayan Calendar Predictions – do you feel it happening?

People around the world are feeling the changes predicted by the Mayan Calendar.

Much has happened recently - the full-scale democracy movement in the Middle East, and earthquakes and tremors in the active "ring of fire" region around the Pacific Ocean, especially the terrible one in Japan. This calendar does not foresee the end of the world. Therefore the seismic events should not be seen as an apocalyptic sign.

The Calendar is, without a doubt, a predictive instrument, and has been quite accurate forecasting the evolution of human society and our intellectual and social progress. In fact, it's predictions have been very accurate for thousands of years. This accuracy seems even more pronounced concerning our present time. Something, indeed, is happening that we can already feel.

For our current time period, the calendar predicts a very important shift that it calls the 9th and final stage of divine creation, one that will bring a Unity Consciousness to humanity. When was it supposed to begin? 9th of March, 2011. What precisely have we been feeling? Clearly, exactly what was predicted: more Unity Consciousness with each other.

Regarding Japan, it feels like a new level of emotional empathy with what people there are going through, as though it is happening to our selves, or a family member. Regarding the democracy movements, we are more connected and supportive, because the urge to confront corruption is something we're all feeling at the same time. We want to make the world better for everyone.

It seems that what we are feeling is coming upon us in a series of integrations, small shifts in clarity about the matter - in other words, we're getting more connected not just with others but with the rest of ourselves, our higher right brain wisdom which feels like a greater intuitive help in directing our lives.

The Mayan Calendar inscriptions suggest this new Unity Consciousness is coming into us in stages, metaphorically like one would cultivate a garden, only it is a consciousness within ourselves that we are cultivating. First there is the seeding, or intention to cultivate, then there is a sprouting, then leaf formation, and so on, each symbolic of a shift in consciousness that can be proved to oneself every step of the way.

Remember that we have free will. This consciousness will not be imposed on us. Yet, on the other hand, it has never been easier to tune in.

The Nine Dimensions of Consciousness – An Introduction

The Nine Dimensions of Consciousness – An Introduction

We talk of the 3rd and 5th dimensions, lower and higher vibrations, Fear and Love.
Here is a brief overview of all nine dimensions of consciousness.

Please read also the earlier blog:

http://therapiesandthespiritualpath.blogspot.com/2010/04/way-of-life-in-fifth-dimension-by-jim.html

1st Dimension.
The Iron crystal core at the centre of the Earth.
2nd Dimension.
The Realm between the Iron Crystal Core and the surface of the Earth.
3rd Dimension.
Linear Space and Time on the Surface of the Earth, the time and space occupied by human beings, where Fear is King. Psychic abilities can be developed.
4th Dimension.
The Realm of the collective mind, thoughts and feelings of all human beings on the Planet, also the Realm connecting all of us. Intuition and feelings. The place were all akashic records are held. The place were control programmes exist to keep humans in confusion. Consider Financial systems based upon False Values, which are being exposed, control by religions and governments to keep citizens in confusion and fear.
5th Dimension.
The Dimension of opening of the heart, the Realm of Unconditional LOVE. Where 3rd dimension states of anger, jealousy, deceit and lies no longer exist.
6th Dimension.
The Dimension of geometrical fields (like Plato – World of Forms), subtle dimension and mental fields.
7th Dimension.
The Dimension of Sound. Sound creates geometry. (Like Keppler – Music of Spheres).
8th Dimension.
The Dimension of Divine Consciousness and Oneness. Trusting, being in a state of Grace.
9th Dimension.
The Dimension of Time. It is said that Mayan calendar is a time coded evolutionary form, creating the Divine mind and the Dimensions.
Also that as the calendar comes to an end in 2012 (some say 2011) all nine dimensions of consciousness will open up and be available.

Like notes of music, each Dimension has it’s own frequency which can be tuned into.

Relationships Are Changing

Relationships at every level are changing.

Higher frequencies are motivating these changes, and many of you are already responding to these higher energies by changing jobs, residence or relationships.
That is why you have so many split-ups, breakdowns, separations and divorces.

Everything will be very different in the future, but what will happen to relationships?

In the new energy scenario, the key is to put yourself at the centre of your life, and to do this is neither selfish nor egotistic.

Be complete in yourself first, then, you can help others. They will find you.

Future relationships will come from the heart, and will be based on honesty and truth. The focus will be on sharing and co-dividing energies, while at the same time keeping your being-ness and your uniquenes.

These relationships will not be based on need and dependency upon each other, but by two independent spirits who are complete in themselves, and benefit by being independent together in Love.

“God” created Love, while humans created marriage.

Love creates union of souls and mind and oneness with the universe, while the institution of marriage (and living together – without conscious awareness) often produces possession of the other person and thus it stifles creativity and growth.

Today couples stay together out of free will, while before they had little choice.
They also part because the relationship does not serve the needs of one or both partners. Those needs include spiritual growth. Freedom from a stifling or unsatisfactory relationship allows the person to develop and blossom.

The premise of the new-paradigm of relationship will be to love the other by loving oneself first and to make a commitment to help each other become more conscious.

That is a powerful relationship.

Simple Principles

I believe in some simple principles.
We are spirits enjoying a human experience.
What we think sends out positive or negative vibrations affecting everyone and everything.
We are all connected. One is all. All is one.
We are influenced by massive energies around us.
We can take control of our lives.
We can step from living in FEAR to living in LOVE.
We are controlled by fear but we have the choice to ignore fear and choose LOVE and to remain calm while disasters happen around us.
We need to do this.
We need to be in nature.
Nature has what we need to sustain us and energise us.
We are part of a rising awareness and consciousness.
Corruption, greed and power is being exposed daily.
Economic systems and dictatorships are collapsing as they no longer serve
our truths and our souls.
We are realising that material possessions do not bring happiness (even if they bring comfort).
More joy can be achieved by helping others.
We are moving to honesty and transparency for the good of all at personal and corporate levels.
More people are moving from heavy Fear vibration to the lightness of living in LOVE and LIGHT.
